Hominy High School has received the “2011 College Readiness Award” for increasing the number of students taking the ACT Assessment over the past five years and significantly increasing their level of achievement and college readiness. The Hominy High School will host students from the Middle School and High School in an attempt to draw attention to the effects that bullying has on students. The Assembly will take place on December the 6th starting at 8:20 to 9:20 in the old gym. In the afternoon 50 High School and Middle School students will role play and be put in a variety of situations to inform them on bullying. The boys and girls basketball teams are in the Glencoe Tournament this week. The boys lost their opener to Glencoe and will play Dove Science Academy Jan 20th @ 3:00. The girls opened the tournament with a win against a really good Southwest Covenant and will play Olive Jan 20th @ 4:20. read more
