HOMINY OFFERS CLASSES  FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

The Hominy Public School District offers a free education to all children from 3 years of age through 21.  Hominy provides services for their students with disabilities.  A Federal Law establishes the guidelines for the program.

It requires that each child with a disability have access to the least restrictive educational environment, a program best suited to the child’s special needs and as close as possible to a nondisabled child’s educational program.  Hominy provides services for learning disabled, intellectually disabled, speech and language impaired, and other disabilities as mandated by the Federal Government.

Anyone knowing a child age 3 years of age through 21 needing any of these special services or programs should contact Becky King, Special Education Coordinator for Hominy Public School at (918) 885-6253 or Cory Campbell, Superintendent of Hominy Public School at (918) 885-6511.
